Hypnosis is using guided relaxation to place you into a state of focused awareness allowing your subconscious or unconscious mind to readily absorb suggestions without having your critical mind negate the suggestion before it has a chance to be assimilated. This allows you to train your subconscious mind to replace negative beliefs with positive suggestions for change. Hypnosis is not about losing self control or being gullible or weak minded. You are not sleeping, nor are you “hypnotized”. You won’t feel weird or “zonked out”. Just simply relaxed and in control.
